Puerto Iguazu, Puerto Iguazu

Neighborhood · Other
Best known for its proximity to the breathtaking Iguazu Falls, the small city of Puerto Iguazu stands guard at the frontier of Argentina, looking out watchfully over Brazil and Paraguay. Mainly used as a transitional point to the falls, the city lacks its own strong identity, with no real central square and not much in the way of tourist attractions. It's the surrounding nature that people come to see, and to that end, the town serves as a good base for exploring the area and the nearby wildlife rehabilitation center.
