Poncho Tours Reviews
Nick was a great guide. Our three Croatian friends had a private tour of Salta-Purmamarca-Salinas Grandes-Tilcara-Humahuaca-El Hornocal. Thanks to Nick, we are the first Croats on that highest peak... more »

Our seven-day tour with Poncho Tours was fantastic and truly memorable. Our trip from Salta included visits to salt flats, historic sites, some quirky churches, and to local towns, restaurants and crafts people. The ‘painter’s palette’ of colours in the mountains of the Quebrada de Humahuaca was amazing. After a day of acclimatisation (15km and ascending to 3400m) we travelled to Iruya and embarked the 2 day expedition with our local guide, Danny, to his parents’ farm up in the mountains. Despite the challenge for two retirees of trekking up to 3,500 metres, the experience of peace and tranquillity in the mountains, with condors occasionally circling overhead, will never be forgotten.
Excellent service. Professional and very knowledgeable of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day trip to Valles Calchaquies with Nick. Amazing!
