  • We arrived by land when it was half an hour before closing and we were told not to enter for the short time, we did the inquiries to return the next day. We asked to use the bathrooms and they told us Q are only available for those who pay the entrance. Later we arrived to its port in the navigation (without descending) and almost gave thanks X to have lost it. What you see doesn't seem to be a big deal. 50 km Alrrededor of our domicile there are more important stays q ESA.

  • The stay is super cute and it is a shame that it is private and that it has property of the island Hammer, where the Penguins nest, but hey, that is an appreciation of the sad eurocentristas policies of the nineteenth century that took our country. The scenery is wonderful and has a very interesting bone museum, of the fauna of the area. It is guided by the researchers who live there and if you are lucky you can go to where they clean the bones and work daily, know their work. I found that very enriching, to know the scientific work of the southern biologists. There is a tea house with rich offer and a good price.

  • It’s a calm and relaxing place! After listening the history about the Estancia Harberton you can enjoy a delicious food at the local restaurant.
  • Our tour took a bus to Estancia Harberton from Ushuaia, almost 2hrs. 20 of us then boarded a Zodiac to the island and walked among the penguins for about 1hr before heading back to the estancia and boarding a catamaran for a leisurely sail to see huge bird and sea lions communities on the rocks around the lighthouse. Highlight of our trip. Pira Tours is the only operator that takes visitors directly onto the island, others only let you watch from boats, which is not bad but Pira was excellent in all respects, from the equipment to the very knowledgeable guides. A+++.
