  • It's hard to find anything free to do. This, however, is totally free. There was no pressure to donate, though the opportunity is there. Staff/volunteers are happy, friendly and informative. On entering, we were greeted by several friendly donkeys, eager to get a treat and scratch. Plus one donkey torpedo that really didn't seem to care much for my brother. Feed buckets are available for cheap, with a safe platform to feed from & a washing station. Some people brought in carrots/apples and you can wander about to visit the less social residents. A good stop to stretch.
  • The Donkey Sanctuary was recommended to us by friends and I am so glad we made the trip-it truly was one of the highlights to our time in Aruba. The sanctuary is beautiful and well kept. The volunteers and staff are so friendly and their love for the donkeys really shows. It was fun seeing the cats and roosters too! Great souvenirs and handmade items for sale as well.
