  • Completing my trip to the 200 summer of the Battle of Waterloo, a visit to the museum was a wonderful experience. Many exhibits, the 2 4d film make a colossal impression and it is definitely one of the best museums in Belgium. Recommend

  • The complex is very interesting to visit (exhibition, panorama and Lion's mound) and allows you to get to know the whole Napoleonic era and not just the Battle of Waterloo. In addition, the ticket includes many services such as audio-guide, a carriage ride to the farm of Hougoumont, various animations for a very affordable price. The only downside is the gallery with all the uniforms. It is very interesting but there is a lot of information and you get lost with the audio guide.

  • I liked this place very much. Lots of stairs up but wonderful view - one can just imagine how was for those soldiers in 1815. Museum is very interesting and makes you go back in those times. There is a restaurant nearby or you can just buy a sandwich and enjoy the feeling. The parking space is very close and free. Ticket for a museum with audio guide costs acceptable 12 euro.
  • An interesting place with a great historic meaning. They decorated it nicely, the staff could be a bit friendlier but in total it is worth the visit. I suggest taking out two hours of your schedule to be able to watch the 3D movie (goggles included ofc), visiting the elevated monument, checking the souvenir shop and having a nice relaxed drink at the included cafe.
