Create an itinerary including Praia do Mucugê
Sheltered from the ocean waves by a coral reef, Praia do Mucugê is mostly popular for its inexpensive bars and beachfront restaurants with live music. At low tide, swimming is not advisable, since the corals can hurt your feet. During low season, the water might be too cold for swimming, but you can rent a kayak and paddle along the shore. Put Praia do Mucugê at the forefront of your travel plans using our Porto Seguro trip website.

  • It’s a nice coral reefs beach, where you have natural barrier against the force of the ocean. In the morning we got a very low tide, so we walk all the way in, to the reefs and just sat and relaxed...

  • Nice beach with lots of options to sit and have a caipirinha, coconut water, snacks and lunch. Place where you can listen to good music and be well served.

  • Good location. Good food. Cold beer. Sea great for swimming and for kids. Good variety of kiosks.
  • Full of people even in winter! Great atmosphere.
