Morere, Ilha de Boipeba

#1 of 13 in Things to do in Ilha de Boipeba
Must see · Beach · Nature / Park
Part of the archipelago town of Cairu, Morere is a true beach paradise, only reachable by boat or by a local-run tractor ride. Once there you will find white sand, surrounded by mangroves and rainforest, home to a small fishing village as well as several camping grounds. The water is crystal clear, and perfect for snorkeling, with many reefs and deeper pools. Considering its isolation, you might expect it to be difficult to find food at Morere, but snacks and drinks are sold from boats at the ocean pools, and with the proximity of the fishing village, an abundance of seafood is available. • The beach of Moreré is one of the most beautiful and sought-after parais of Boipeba Island. Rustic and practically deserted, is surrounded by immense coconut trees, offers stunning nature and calm sea, at low tide are large natural pools ideal for bathing and diving practice. It is a beautiful beach that offers great tranquility and beautiful landscapes with a small infrastructure and offers kiosks and restaurants at the foot of the sand, it is also possible to stay in some of the pousadas of the village of Moreré, farther away and very Quiet, but it offers a good grocery store, restaurants and some commercial shops. Those who want to save time and meet other beaches on the same day is very worth making the speedboat tour called "Volta to Ilha", which leaves Morro de São Paulo and has stops on the beach and in the pools of Moreré.

  • Crystal clear waters with super nice temperature. It's too much to dive into this place to observe marine life. A place that incites to spend hours enjoying the day. I fell in love with those waters.
