Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer
An elegant 38-meter (125 ft) Art Deco statue constructed in 1931, Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer was once only accessible by climbing hundreds of steep steps to the top of the Corcovado Mountain. Today, visitors can access this instantly recognizable city symbol by using the convenient escalators and elevators. The viewing platform from the top offers panoramic views of Copacabana, Ipanema, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Botanical Garden, and the Maracana Stadium. Check the weather before starting your climb to the top, as thick clouds often envelop the peak and obscure the view. You can also reach the top on the funicular train, but remember that the lines can get rather long here. Try to time your visit for lunchtime, when there are fewer crowds and considerably shorter lines. Put Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Rio de Janeiro trip maker website.

Hello guys how are you all , If you have a credit card, there is a special terminal, where you can choose a language of your choice to navigate. The process is smooth and fast. In addition, there is a place to get some water, ice cream and souvenirs and then you must wait for your train. If there are seats left on a previous train, they would let you in too, ahead of the session you've paid for. On the way up, sit on the right for better views. Prepare some cash, as there will be a stop, where you can buy some water. And the train driver will get one for free then too. This is Brazil. Once you get to the top, a) there are several souvenir shops, b) two cafes, where you can just have a drink and admire the view, or have some food too, and c) mind your steps. There are quite a few of them on the way up. There's a lift too, in fact, 3 of them, but the waiting line is huge. Once you get to the top, you will be surrounded by a crowd, so it's better to have a local friend, who would navigate you for better views and perspectives. There are some guards hiding in the shadow of Christ, so the place up there is very safe. There are two stops for the train, in case you arrive by taxi or hike up there. Do check the guidelines for safety,i hope this review and photos will helpful for many peoples if it click like thank you

I travel to many countries and amazing places. But going to Christ the Redeemer was until now the most beautiful place I ever been!! The Christ is incredible just to think the work to have something like that built on top of that mountain!! The views are outstanding. If I could I would have stayed there many hours just relaxing. It was something arranged with the cruise line, that we paid for (Coral Princess)and no regrets for not having to stand in lines.
