Museu do Amanha, Rio de Janeiro

The line to get in was very long, like 1 hour wait. Then the line for the main attraction inside was also very long, maybe about 1 hour as well. Then inside the main thing, a dome with video projected on it in 360 degrees, there were barely any seats. Not a problem normally but not after 2 hours standing in line. Furthermore, all the narration was in Portuguese without even any subtitles. The video was fine but not so long (ok because of the standing) and a bit frustrating because only Portuguese and no subtitles. Otherwise the museum had some interesting things and some or even most were translated. I really liked the theme of the museum which is to make people aware of the environmental impact we have and the importance to take measures together to healthy, happy and prosperous. Money is nothing without those things so we can't sacrifice the planet for money, which is only a social construct anyway. We as a society can make money by improving sustainable technologies, so let's focus on that!

By far one of the best contemporary/modern museums that I've ever been to! I don't think I could recommend this museum enough. I was extremely impressed with the building as much from the outside as well as on the inside. Very informative and interactive and thought-provoking exhibits about the future of tomorrow. Very big and spacious and very well organized. Also great bathrooms for Rio standards 👍🇧🇷. If you're visiting Rio, make sure you add this museum to your list!
