  • Housed in the aristocratic neighborhood of Pacaembu, the Casa de Guilherme de Almeida is a huge surprise in conservation and beauty. The house where the poet lived his last years turned into a fantastic museum, free and with very well monitored visits. It has access to practically the entire House, except in the attic, where the author wrote. I was just passing through the neighborhood and I'm going back to explore it better

  • I like the idea of Home Museum. Invitation to the intimacy of someone we admire, which provokes us, inspires, delights. The artist is revealed in the details. The story told with affection. Guilherme de Almeida House is beautiful. Is in a quiet street in a loft overlooking the Pacaembu. Admission is free and all visits are guided. The teachers are excellent. Go without haste. There is much to see and enjoy. The collection is awesome and the careful exposure. Exciting.

  • The House museum is composed of a large (artistic and domestic) collection, cause that motivates a visit to the house. This House belonged to the poet Guilherme de Almeida involving in political, artistic and literary movements during the 20th century, so part of the objects present in the museum cause, are paintings (many portraits) made by artists such as Anita Malfatti, Tarsila of the Amaral, Di Cavalcante and, among others/other artists. Important to highlight-the visit to the collection is only possible accompanied by educators of the institution-the institution does not allow visitors to stay alone in the house, so there are always employees or educators of the institution. The easiest access coming out of the deep bar and catch a bus (pine 208m) and get off at Tacit de Almeida Street, the museum is very close. Of the Metro Sumaré is also possible, just go down the street Cardoso de Almeida. Worth the visit. is free
