The first skyscraper to be built in Brazil, the brick and concrete Martinelli Building remains one of the most significant constructions in Sao Paulo. Inaugurated in 1929, the building is 130 m (427 ft) tall, and was once the tallest skyscraper in Latin America. The 26th floor serves as home to an elegant terrace and Italian-style villa, originally constructed by the Martinelli family as a residence in order to prove to locals that the building would not collapse. • The location is beautiful and would be much more visited if it were not the staff that is on site. From what I've seen, they're outsourced, yet they act of ill will. Only in the time we stood in line we saw more than 100 people being dispensed by them simply talking "that can wait in line for 2 hours, but will not rise PQ in 1 hour will rain", or even having stopped the rain more than 1 hour discouraged who wanted to climb D That they wouldn't open up because maybe the floor was wet or they didn't guarantee anything. Absurd and discase. Frustando Countless people who were there to know the building. In the meantime, the lighthouse Santander was crowded and very well serving who seeks it!

  • This is a beautifull place to have a view of the entire area around. The restaurant looks good - however they would not allow us in - we were too early :(  more »
