Pinacoteca do Estado de Sao Paulo reviews
Easy to buy tickets online, easy to get there. Super nice space overall. Great collection regarding Brazil’s history and its indigenous and black people. Spicy and fair critic to colonial era... more »

I really enjoyed this museum! It is more or a traditional art museum as opposed to Museum of Art of São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand. I may personally like traditional art museums better, but I thought the Pinacoteca was a better experience. I enjoyed the layout and restoration of the building as well as the numerous balconies. The art on display was very good at showcasing Brazilian art of several eras. I highly recommend this museum.
Beautiful building with a surprising collection of Brazilian and European art. Both from the 19th century and modern art. Not always logically arranged, but that doesn't matter much. Wonderful atmosphere inside the building
