An immense forest, with a peculiar flora, that only the natives of the region are able to unravel, with exotic fruits, drinking water inside vines, and many other surprises. An exotic and varied fauna, passing through all those groups you studied in your science book in 6th grade. An immensity of sweet waters that flood the land, creating towns in stilts, avenues in streams, backyards where livelihood and survival are weighed. Living in an environment with such complexity is a challenge that is not for the weak. Don't you dare opine about the Amazon rainforest before you know it!
ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Everything was just... PERFECT! Mwuah! I can't describe the sensation of the fresh air. It blew me away! (literally) Though, so things I didn't quite enjoy were the locals. Don't get me wrong; they were really nice (The human ones, I mean). But, they tried soaking me in some ape blood, and it wasn't my best bath. They then tried to eat me, which wasn't very pleasant. Now, I'm not one to judge life-choices, but, I think they were cannibals. The apes stole my keys and the tiger took my leg. It wasn't really the best service, but I managed. I did have to fight off a great ape, but that's all I can say about the animals.
The Amazon Jungle, as it is commonly known in English, is a magnificent broad-leafed rainforest in the heart of Brazil, the basin of which covers an impressive area of 7 million square kilometres (or 1.7 billion acres). It has an astonishing value in the natural world in terms of the Oxygen that it provides, the Carbon Dioxide that it consumes and the splendid array of exquisite plant- and animal species to which it is home. In fact, it is home to the most diverse and numerous arrays of species in the world.
