  • It's winter time so I didn't expect much. But it was quite amazing. Trails are all very well-groomed and maintained even in the winter. All the bathrooms are open and functioning which I did not expect. I could see from the websites that it would be a great place to come in the summer spring or fall, but I can tell you it was wonderful in the winter. Bright sunny day, bring some sunflower seeds or bird seed in the birds will eat right from your hand. My only complaint, and it's not a bad at the park itself, is that as a bus rider the closest bus stop for me to get off at for the better 30 to 40 minute walk from the park. Still, since I was out for a walk anyways I guess I shouldn't complain. LOL. There are two large parking lots one at each end. Very busy place and every person we ran into was super friendly. A really pleasant surprise from someone who's new to the area and looking for hikes that are close to town. I'll go back for sure.
  • Excellent conservation area. Easy walking. Good parking area. Informative signage. Never busy. Grandson loved feeding the birds. Access road a bit bumpy.
