Following a tough hike, reward yourself with panoramic views from atop the 700 m (2,297 ft) tall granite monolith, which stands above the waters of the nearby Howe Cove. It's commonly believed that this is the second largest granite monolith in the world.     The whole point of coming to this park is to ascend to one or more of the 3 peaks. No easy feat and it’s quite steep all the way up and back. A few challenging pitches with chains, so one needs some.....  more »

    I did The Chief! What a challenging feat of a climb. Only 5km, by heart pumping all the way straight up 2149 feet. Stunning views of Howe Lake, Garibaldi peaks and Squamish. Reviews talk of...  more »

    Excellent challenging climb. Up and down in 3.5 hours for a 62 year old. Would be much more enjoyable for me to go up, camp in a hammock, and return the next day. I’d like to spend more time relaxing on the top.

    Good hiking trail. Be prepared to handle many stairs and all 3 peaks can be done on one go. Good cardio workout too!
