Just beside Kitsilano Beach sits Canada's longest pool, Kitsilano Pool. This 137.5 m (450 ft) long, saltwater swimming pool is known as "Kit's pool" by the locals. The clear water reflects a turquoise color, reminiscent of a tropical island but without the sand. You can practice your form in the roped section as you take in views of the city and the ocean. The site also offers a picnic area on the grass nearby as well as a playground and volleyball courts.     Nothing marks the beginning of the summer season in Vancouver like the opening of its Kitsilano Pool. This year, of course, it is different. Perched between land & ocean, it is there for all to see.....  more »

    This place is beautiful, people who live here suffer from super expensive real estate, etc. I won't recommend dating anyone from these area! Breath taking sunset view.

    Great place to swim laps. Gets packed easily but you can still find your own comfortable space for swimming laps.
