Nice scenery, you will take beautiful pictures at this place. Very relaxing. I did it in the summer and it was nice. I would be scare of doing it in the winter just because there are some very narrow roads. However if you are going to an experienced driver, this should not be a problem.
Visited this wonderful location twice whilst on a trips to Santiago. We went both times with a great company called Ski total and arrived at the location after approx 2hr drive out of the city. The scenery is truly breathtaking and stunning with plenty of wonderful photo opportunities. There is a mobile refreshment van a short walk away if your feeling a bit peckish and a picnic area with toilets a short 10 min drive away. It really is a must visit location if visiting Santiago.
