The name red stones comes from the color of the stones of the shore due to the iron oxide they contain. Currently it is not allowed to approach the shore and you can only see the place from the road and the viewpoints enabled for it, this is due to the incivism of some tourists who dedicated themselves to doing stupid things, including kyte surfing. There is a viewpoint in an area where hot springs sprout and which is called Aguascalientes. A few further is the beautiful Tuyajto Lagoon which is also worth a visit.

To do it alone by car, but it will be without the history and instructions of the guides. The road is signaled, paved and safe!
