  • First of all thank you for the pedagogical of the guide who despite making some mistakes of bulk (not all the defective wine is viangre, no more wood is better,...) made the visit very pleasant. Moreover, the value of the visit is not justified either by the place or by the wines tasted. A sidenote is that the wines I purchased (Mourvedre and Field Blend) were in early decline (bad storage?) and in the case of the latter it had an excess of "brett".

  • Excellent tour to discover the history of Santa Carolina Winery. Very attentive guide on a well-booked tour, all very well explained, great wines, a good option for those who visit Santiago and want to take a tour on their own, just a few blocks from the subway. It's worth knowing.

  • Pro's: The 3 wines we tasted were good, albeit 2 were a bit too acidic for my personal taste. The Family Reserve Cab Sauvignon was my favorite. Leonardo was great at teaching the guests who were new to tasting, describing the wines, and telling the story of Santa Carolina. The premises are 150 yrs old, with great character - fabulous place for a wedding or corporate event. We received a half bottle each as last of the tour. Con: We drove a rental car there. There was no sign on the road for the path to the tasting (one driveway was for employees only and the other had a gate down and no markings. We finally got the guard to let us in and park, but he would not let us go to the tasting until someone in the office said it was OK. We could see the chalk board for the meeting point, but the guard held us for 10 minutes, making us late for the tasting and giving us a very bad feeling about the place. Management needs to post signs at the road and establish a process for the guards to know who to let in...graciously! They could have a list of names to tick off. Guests could show a ticket on their phone. Something needs to be done immediately!
  • Lovely experience, the guide was super nice and we were given a bottle of wine as gift :)
