The foundations of the site were laid during the 6th century BCE, but it was during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing dynasties (1644-1911) that the gardens became a city hotspot. You can visit up to 69 preserved gardens and its residential sections which still maintain the classical structure, arrangement of furniture, style, and aesthetics. Notice how each layout combines Chinese philosophy with Oriental art, creating a tranquil cultural aura.
