Aptly named Dancing House is one of the more unusual buildings in the city center, a modern glass structure surrounded by Gothic and Baroque architecture. Designed by architects Vlado Milunic and Frank Gehry, the curvy glass tower appears clutched against a more upright structure, making the combination look like a pair of dancers. Nicknamed the "Fred and Ginger Building" after the celebrated dance duo, the building caused controversy in the 1990s, as some critics felt it did not accord well with the surrounding architectural styles. Visit the top floor, which houses a restaurant and offers views stretching all the way to the city's famous castle. Wonderful! I really recommend to visit this building Dancing House. The best time to go and take a picture is during the afternoon since during the morning you will have the sunlight disturbing you. (my case with these pictures) However the experience is 100% recommended, you can visit the terrace and have a nice view of the city. You just need to pay the consumption in the cafeteria. No entry fee besides that. I bought some chips. Enjoy as much as you can. In the ground floor you can buy some souvenirs.
The Dancing House, the undisputed symbol of modern Prague. The Dancing House is part of the New Town and was built on the embankment between 1992 and 1996 in place of a building destroyed during the American bombardment of February 14, 1945. Sinuous lines and panels in glass, stone and asymmetrical windows, can also boast a "Hair" in braided metal. I advise you not to limit yourself to photographing the Dancing House from the outside, but to enter, head towards the elevator and go up to the top floor, where you will find the cafeteria. Just a minimum order (the price list is already present in the elevator) to be admitted to the outdoor terrace, in correspondence of the metal dome. The view of the Vltava and the castle is splendid, without considering that the place is not particularly crowded and it is possible to enjoy the view in complete tranquility.
