As you stroll through this recreation of a small town, look in on the bakery, pharmacy, merchant's house, and school. Be sure to visit the 70's themed quarters and the toy museum, noted for displaying more than 6,000 playthings produced during the 19th and 20th centuries. • Spectacular! Definitely worth a visit. Interesting and creative museum. We expected a short visit but there was so much to explore that we ended up spending around 4 hours there. We rushed through as we had other places to visit but easily could have stayed another hour or two. We ate in the grill and I had the largest pork chop I have ever seen! Very tasty food. We found the entrance fee to be very reasonable and I would recommend this museum.
  • Always a pleasure! Lots of old original buildings collected from all over Denmark. Live actors in some of the buildings that doing everyday things from that time and are happy to tell you about life at that time. There is also a poster museum and a big underground complex with more classic museum exhibitions. I definitely recommend.
