Danish Architecture Center (Danish: Dansk Arkitektur Center), (DAC), is Denmark’s national center for the development and dissemination of knowledge about architecture, building and urban development.

  • Found of architecture, yes I am. But this, I don't understand. An exhibition of furniture made with recycle materials, in fact 6 chairs and 2 tables, so what ... And a kind of kids club, nothing...  more »
  • We visited DAC when the BIG exhibition was on, and then did a DAC walking tour of modern architecture (which was around the Ørestads area). My son really loves architecture and so this was always on.....  more »

  • Very interesting design museum. Building is modern and on the water. There was a nice Lego exhibition where various world buildings were re-created. A Lego bricks playground for kids full of bricks to play with. This was on the lower level. Models of architecture structures, buildings around the world such as skyscrapers, modern art monuments and artefacts were displayed along with a wealth or information on them. Excellent to spend a couple hours and of course if you are interested in architecture and design. A cafe on the top floor with nice view. We visited mid-end July 2019 and actually were offered entrance tickets while trying to figure out if to buy ticket. A very nice Danish (I guess) couple approached us and told us they had the opportunity to offer entrance to two guests thanks to them having the subscription. we tried to thank them offering a coffee but they said it did not matter. They just made us a gift to enjoy the museum! They were very kind and something (this simple act of generosity) we will bring back home as a memory from this trip to Copenhagen...
  • Free for anyone under 26. There is a cafe is located on the top with a great view of the harbor. It is possible to book a lunch offer together with your entrance ticket. I saw the BIG exhibition and on first glance it looked small, but there is so much to see and it took us all day.
