Radhuspladsen, Copenhagen

2.9
Radhuspladsen serves as an important spot for the city, as it's a popular venue for demonstrations and street performances. City hall is the most notable building on the square; it was erected between 1892 and 1905 at the site of an old hay market. The square features many sculptures and fountains, including a statue of H.C. Andersen and a fountain depicting a fight between a bull and a dragon. Notice the rotating sculpture of a girl perched high on the Richs building, telling the weather. When the weather is clear the statue of a girl comes out with her bicycle, and when it is raining the girl holds an umbrella.
