The David Collection Reviews
Очень приятный музей, в центре города (совсем рядом - парк и замок Розенборг), есть маленький музейный магазинчик. Красивые интерьеры богатого дома 19-го в., много изысканного фарфора (Мейсен, Севр и ... more »Very nice museum, in the center of the city (very close to the park and Castle Rosenborg), there is a small museum shop. Beautiful interiors of the rich house of the 19th century, a lot of exquisite porcelain (Meissen, SEVR, etc.), a variety of paintings (portraits, landscapes) of the Danish artists of different ages, but, in my opinion, the most interesting-a stunning collection of Islamic Art of the 7TH-19TH centuries. First off, it's free, which is extra nice considering it's in Copenhagen. Despite this, it's actually full of interesting pieces, all well presented. The security WILL insist you leave your bags in the lockers, so do that straight away instead of being turned back later. Without doubt, one of the best museums focused on islamic art.
Pros: Excellent place to visit Lots of history items Good explanation of the items collected from different parts of the world Nice relax quiet environment You will need a day to explore this beautiful place Nice friendly staff Lockers are also available paid and free one You will receive an ipad which you will need to return at the end.
