Nambilla Cascadas, Mindo

#1 of 16 in Nature in Pichincha Province
Must see · Waterfall · Nature / Park
Pack a swimsuit before visiting Nambilla Cascadas, a set of 15 waterfalls formed by the Nambilla River and located in a cloud-forest ecological reserve. Trek the scenic trail to the waterfalls to spot the area's diverse wildlife, then dip your feet in the smaller cascades or swim in one of the bigger pools. Instead of walking, you can take a cable car and observe the surrounding forest during the ride. Bring some food and water for your trip and have a picnic next to the cascading river. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Mindo holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Nambilla Cascadas and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
