The country's center of political power, Reichstag Building houses the German Parliament. This grand building, designed by architect Paul Wallot in 1894, was renovated and reopened in 1999. Its glass dome, designed by architect Norman Foster, offers panoramic views of the city and is accessible by elevator. You'll almost always encounter a long line waiting for the elevator, especially on sunny days, so plan lots of extra time when visiting this site. Once on top, enjoy 360-degree views and listen to a free audio guide about the building and the surrounding city sites. You can visit the dome and get guided tours of the building only with confirmed reservations secured well in advance. Check the website for details on registering online or in person. • The visit is free. You ask your date and time on the internet in advance. We didn't have tails and the buffet breakfast was very good. It is worth. You get an idea of the great city. It is worth making it the first day you are there.

  • Awesome government building that is free to visit. Just get your pass from the office and they will give you a time slot to visit, make sure you have photo id. The dome at the top is remarkable with 360° views of the city. An audio guide is also given which tells you the history of the building and its surroundings as you walk up the dome. Highly recommend visiting this place!
  • This is the German parliament building with lot of history! They've the old designed building and inside there is modern chambers for the law makers. Interesting part is, tourist can visit the building which is limited to the dome and roof top terrace. You've to make an online appointment which is free and they'll allocate a time slot for you on your chosen date. Take a print out of the reservation confirmation and go along with your photo ID. Once you’re up, staffs will provide you an audio guide which is intelligent enough to locate you and do the commentary perfectly. You'll have a 360° view of Berlin and audio guide will tell you what you're seeing! This experience is amazing and worthy once you're in Berlin. Thanks to German government for such a nice and free arrangement for tourists that people will remember always!
