Very informative and authentic. The museum is also very exciting and you can admire all the tools and machines from the 19th century to the modern era. We stayed here for over 4 hours
Great experience. Very week designed, especially the interactive museum (my kids loved it!). It's a shame all the videos in mind were only in German and nothing in English. However, the experience was amazing.
AWESOME is the only word that comes close to describing this museum. Allow plenty of time to see the underground exhibit and learn the history of German coal mining in the upstairs exhibition halls. Staffed by former miners who love telling their stories to visitors. Germany has now closed all it's underground coal mines so this is your only chance to se it how it really was. AAA+++
