BMW Museum showcases the carmaker's technical developments during its history and the benefits of modern vehicle design. On this bowl-shaped site, you'll find engines, turbines, aircraft, motorcycles, and many of the company's most famous road vehicles. Also get a look at what the company's engineers have been dreaming up over the last two decades by viewing drawings of their concepts for new vehicles. Tour the museum on your own or take one of several behind-the-scenes tours. Audio guides are available. Consider stopping by the adjacent modern showroom to see the models currently for sale. There are many nice cars and bikes from old ones till modern, and even a few concept cars that we will not see on the streets. There are a few engines exposed from various sport cars. Plus a bit of history. And that's it. I cannot say what exactly I was expecting more, but I thought it would be much more impressive. Well, may be I wanted to have the ability not just to take a look at the past, but also have a chance to know lots of details about the present, look and sit inside every type of latest BMW. I wanted to have interactive installations. I wanted to try something on the wheels, even if it would be just a toy. And of course I wanted to get much more futuristic impressions, like what the car is going to look like in ten years, fifty years, hundred years... how designers were seeing that in the past. I wanted to see the intention of the company and the goals. I wanted to visit this place and get out with the confidence that BMW is the greatest company that builds best cars in the world. But that didn't happen. You can do more for people coming to you, BMW!
Home of BMW. Some modern building with German architecture and style. The history of BMW under one roof. Amazing place. Some displays are animated which add flare the the place. So well preserved cars and bikes ... even airplane engines all BMW. To see some of my favorite car from my youth in perfect condition takes you back in time where you can remember your past.
