  • Didn't get to see the glockenspiel in operation to appreciate the sound of the 43 bells, but liked seeing nonetheless...  more »

  • An absolute beautiful park! A great place for a jog, to take the little ones, or a date. There is a nice tall tower with a great view of Stuttgart and a small train that takes you around the park.Beautiful park with a couple of restaurants. Large playground and animals for kids to feed! Great place to spend an afternoon relaxing outdoors.
  • The Glockenspiel is truly a work of art. There is nothing else that can be said about it. It contains over 40 bells and 30 life-size figurines doing dances and various musical notes. There is so much going on this clock. It takes about 10 minute for everything to happen (from start to finish). It tells the story of the marriage of Duke Wilhelm V as well as the story of the coopers dance. It is fascinating to see, and how the entire crowd around you (at least 500 + people) all stop just to watch it play out. At the end of the show a rooster comes out and chirps three times to let everyone know it is over. If you are ever in Munich you need to check this clock out!
