  • The museum closes at 6 pm, but guards start harassing you at 5:15 and kick you out by force at 5:45. Avoid this museum.  more »

  • Fantastic collection! Wanted to go there for three hours but spend 6,5 and still couldn't see everything I wanted to. You should plan an entire day when you are interested in art. The audio guide in German was good, informative, but obviously a little old. Some of the paintings in the guide are now in the archive and the order is different. They have free English tours at 2 pm every day to different topics.
  • I would give everything to go back again! I witnessed a wonderful collection of paintings that gave me a series of feelings I never knew I could feel. Entering and exploring the entire museum felt like the best trip to the arts of the past until today. The staff working there seemed a little rude and some of them seemed to have some trouble speaking English. It was excellent, but there is always room for improvement.
