It's a beautiful place. The journey uphill offers breathtaking scenery. Lots of beautiful butterflies. Got to see some endemic birds. Offers a panoramic view of the islands. There are pointers for identification. It rained briefly during my visit on 21st December. A place for nature lovers. Not a normal touristy place, so few tourists found here. Good for the place and the discerning few.
It was one of the most attractive places to visit. The scenery on the way is beautiful. We took the picture of that place which is on the back side of 20 rupee currency note. We also took the picture of Navy's ship repairing yard located in the middle of the sea. When a naval ship comes for repairs, the total work station sinks in the water to take the ship on board. After sometime, the Ship Repair Yard comes up and the entire water goes back to the sea through chambers. Then the ship is inspected for suitable repairs.
