For a quiet stroll through the medieval streets and impressive views of the island, head to Mdina Old City. The old capital of Malta, this town of 300 residents is surrounded by historic walls and coined the "Silent City" due to the prohibition of cars in the area. Its narrow streets support to an array of buildings that feature Norman Baroque architecture, including the palaces of Maltese noble families. Be sure to visit the imposing Cathedral of the Conversion of St. Paul and explore its square. • Narrow winding streets - beautiful old buildings. And superb views. Second only to Valletta. Some OK cafes too  more »
  • After beeing to see Dingli cliffs we stayed for a walk and lunch in Mdina old city. Nice, clean and small alleys, with seaview on the top. Can recommend to stay here for a couple of hours.  more »
