Explore Mnajdra, a prehistoric temple composed of massive limestone blocks that overlooks the sea and nearby islet. Watch a 4-D film in the visitor center to learn about the 5,000 years of history associated with the temple. View a prehistoric chamber with an elliptical formation in alignment with the summer solstice sunrise so that, at dawn on the first day of summer, the rays of light pass through the hole and illuminate the chamber. Walk down one of the nature trails to the lookout tower for a view of the nearby island and nature reserve. The temple has convenient parking facilities and is easily accessible by bus. Beautiful treasures on the island! I go there regulary for a walk. The location is very unique!
A nice historic site to visit. Is very old and can see markings from when it was used. Getting to the site by public transport takes a long time due to the unreliable bus service.
