  • Stedet er utrolig vakkert. Bygningene er overdådige med mange historiske gjenstander fra Ole Bulls tid. Her fikk jeg en guidet tur gjennom av en hyggelig og svært dyktig og entusiastisk guide som kunn...  more »
  • Due to its location in the former home of Ole Bull, the Museum is very appealing. The area is also very nice for walks. The tour of the Museum is gestaltelt very informative and appealing. You can learn a lot about Ole Bull as a person that is very important for the Norwegian art. The visit is aufjedenfall highly recommended.

  • I visited this place, on a sunny summer day.You arrive by sea, sailing in a small boat through Light's fjord (Lysefjord), until you reach a small jetty. It is a bucolic place, ideal to spend the day, it is a place to relax and feeling the pure nature, the Scandinavian forest, birds, mosses rooted over the barks of the trees, the shades of green; This island is a paradisiacal place, the house-museum is spectacular and more the life of this great and clever man and musician prodigious, doubly from Bergen, as He liked to tell. Ole Bull has left great events in his life and where He lived (USA for example) unfortunately, little recognized worldwide. Close to Bull Museum there is a small coffe place, in whose terrace, you can enjoy a good coffe-cup or teacup and a delicious slice of carrot's cake, admiring amazing Norwegian landscapes. It's paradise to watercolour painters ;). Ole Bull your energy and your legacy are alive still today. Thx 👍
  • Very beautiful home. We visited on a very dreary day and had a private tour as we were the only ones there. Our guide was spectacular and filled with knowledge. Hearing about Ole Bull and the stories was great, we learned so much! Our only obstacle was finding the dock to take the boat to the island. The GPS address led us down random driveways and roads that were not the dock. We finally went to the local grocery store to ask someone and there was the dock! It'd be nice if there were more clear signs posted. Trip was free with Bergen Card.
