See the monument and shrine Santuario Nacional de Cristo Rei, a large cement statue of Christ built to express gratitude for protection during World War II. Completed in 1969, the statue stands 110 m (360 ft) on an isolated clifftop overlooking Lisbon, 133 m (436 ft) above sea level. The top section of the monument is a 28 m (92 ft) representation of Christ. From the base, you can view a panorama of the city, with the Tagus River and an enormous bridge over it.   • Let's visit Jesus's, the grandma's here were 40 years ago, great view over Lisbon, lot of space to walk and relax. Recommend  more »

  • One of the sightseeing points of interest with an amazing view on Lisbon. Be prepared for a great climb though, through the steep streets. It is advisable to take public transport for the most part, but it still requires you to walk a few streets.
  • Very beautiful scenery it feels like we are in San Francisco and Rio at the same time. Great place to take pictures. You can go up the Christ but it is not free
