Centro Historico de Cascais, Cascais

4.5
Centro Historico de Cascais represents the old center of a historic coastal city that was once a small fishing village. While the foundation of Cascais dates to the 12th century, it did not become a desirable resort location until the 19th or 20th centuries, when royalty began to frequent the village. Now it is a popular site for beach-goers and tourists who are interested in Portuguese history. Just a train ride away from Lisbon, this site features tiny, shop-lined side streets; cobblestone roads; several parks; and local bars and restaurants. While you're here, visit the area's art and sea museum, as well as the ruins of the Castle of Cascais. • My wife and I even regretted staying in Lisbon. Arriving for a walk in Kashkais fell in love with the town so much that later returned from the capital, that would be a walk in it. Harmonious, clean seaside town in which you want to stay.

  • Walk along the cliffs of the coast to arrive in Boca do Inferno very nice. Then destination Estoril following the seaside. Very pretty. Don't deprive yourself of walking to admire all these beautiful views.
