Portugal dos Pequenitos
At Portugal dos Pequenitos, explore a miniature world displaying scaled-down versions of some of Portugal's most important monuments and buildings. The attraction was built in 1940 in honor of the nation's people, history, and cultural influence. While best suited for children, who will enjoy interacting with the exhibits and feeling large in this small world, adults will also find the historical value of the displays interesting. View a copy of the famous window from the Convento de Cristo in the historic city of Tomar, various monuments from the capital of Lisbon, and traditional houses. Check out the costume museum which includes over 300 pieces of miniature clothing, the naval museum full of tiny ships, and the furniture museum with small pieces handcrafted from exotic woods. Also, stop by the different pavilions dedicated to the former Portuguese colonies. The park lacks covered areas, so keep this in mind on hot days. Portugal dos Pequenitos is Portugal's first ever attempt at a theme park. It features small kid-scale replicas of typical houses and famous Portuguese monuments. It was built during the fascist regime, and it still shows, if you can read between the lines and grasp the "patriotic" and stereotyped message; but the effort to keep the original trace and style is remarkable, and should be commended. Portugal dos Pequenitos is not only a theme park about Portugal, monuments and houses, but also about the Salazar regime's view on our own country, "colonies", and people. A classic, and still fun. Kids actually love it, even if they miss most of the historic references.

This place is amazing for the little ones! Worth the visit. Lots to see and look around. They even have a small cafe where you can have lunch. Would recommend to anyone with children.
