  • Similar to the Moorish fortress in Sintra, the stone walls wind over the undulations in a ridge high above Sesimbra. An easy climb along the battlements provides awesome views of the town, the ocean.....  more »
  • Well taken care of. Beautiful church. Very quiet. Unusual cemetery inside. Good parking. Too bad no bus. Unbelievable view. Will go back  more »
  • This place has really nice views. The castle doesn't have much on the inside, but the church and the graveyard are also worth visiting. You can take a walk on the outside walls to enjoy the view. In two of the towers is information given about the castle, castels in the area and the castle life, both in English and Portuguese. Take a look at the information to even learn a little bit.
  • Nice view, externals walls stand up, but nothing to see inside the castle.
