Situated just west of the Rosendal Palace, Rosendals Garden serves as a public space that is famous for its lovely gardens as well as its shop, cafe, and bakery. Swedish King Karl XIV Johan developed this area into an English park in the 19th century; it was opened to visitors with the goal of educating the public about the history of agriculture and gardening. Today you can walk along paths in the tranquil European gardens, including the fruit, rose, and wine gardens. Stop in to the site's popular gardening and gift shop or pull up a seat at the cafe or bakery to sample some renowned baked goods. The cafe serves up food and wines made from plants grown in the gardens. Plan to visit Rosendals Garden during your Stockholm vacation using our convenient Stockholm travel tool .

more »
You can take a walk in the garden before 11 o'clock. We arrived after 10 o'clock and walked around the apple orchard and the shops while watching the seasonal flowers. It wasnot as wide as I thought. 10:30 Garden Arrival 11 o'clock Lunch Shop schedule is recommended. I think that it is good to go in the morning because the number of people increased after noon.View original

It was the best cafe we went to while in Stockholm, we went twice in two days! Really amazing food, coffee, and pastries! It's also a nursery with a beautiful flower garden where you have the option to eat in the greenhouse on rainy days or out in the gardens on nice ones. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice place to stay for eating, coffee, meeting friends, relaxing and having a good time. Food, especially the cakes taste great. Coffee and teas are also very drinkable. From my perspective, prices are rather in the upper range. There is a small shop with many kinds of oils, vinegars, sweets, bake accessories, vegetables...I think there are also crop plants to buy for your own garden. I really can recommend to stop by, check it out and enjoy your time.
