Huasco is a Chilean city and commune, in the Huasco Province, Atacama Region.The port city of Huasco is located 50 km west of Vallenar and close to the town of Huasco Bajo, which lies on the southern bank of the Huasco River and only a few km from its mouth. Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sat): explore the wealth of natural beauty at Parque Nacional Llanos del Challe. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 3rd (Sun): experience rural life at Payantume Extra Virgin Olive Oil, take in the waterfront at Costanera de Huasco, and then stroll through Tres Playitas.

Surrounded by the Atacama Desert, Copiapo receives very little rainfall and owes its existence to the mining industry.
Catedral de Copiapo and Iglesia San Francisco will appeal to history buffs. Take a break from the city and head to Desierto Florido and Puerto Viejo.
