Fátima is a civil parish in the municipality of Ourém, in the Portuguese Santarém District. Basilica de Nossa Senhora do Rosario de Fatima and Batalha Monastery are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Monastery of Alcobaca and Basilica da Santissima Trindade. Venture out of the city with trips to Castelo de Tomar (in Tomar), Praia da Nazare (in Nazare) and Coimbra (Old Cathedral of Coimbra (Se Velha de Coimbra) & University of Coimbra).
