Traveling from Lagos in June, things will get a bit cooler in Coimbra: highs are around 28°C and lows about 16°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Wed) so you can travel to Ponta Delgada.

Getting from Coimbra to Ponta Delgada by combination of train, flight, and bus takes about 6.5 hours. The time zone difference moving from Western European Standard Time to Azores Standard Time is minus 1 hour. When traveling from Coimbra in June, plan for slightly colder days and about the same nights in Ponta Delgada: temperatures range from 24°C by day to 19°C at night.
