On the 15th (Wed), wander the streets of Recoleta, view the masterpieces at Karina Chavin Espacio De Arte, then get to know the fascinating history of San Telmo, and finally wander the streets of Puerto Madero. Famed for its neat vineyards and thriving wine production, Mendoza remains the place to visit for a pleasant combination of relaxation and recreation.
Santuario Virgen de Lourdes and Nuestra Senora del Perpetuo Socorro will appeal to history buffs. Do some cultural sightseeing at Bodega La Azul and Bodega Roberto Bonfanti. Take a break from Mendoza with a short trip to Killka Art Gallery in Tupungato, about 1h 25 min away. The adventure continues: learn about winemaking at Bodega Chandon, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Santuario de la Virgen de Lourdes, admire the architecture and history at Templo Sagrado Corazon, and identify plant and animal life at Reserva Natural Divisadero Largo.

You can fly from Buenos Aires to Mendoza in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Buenos Aires in May, Mendoza is a bit cooler at night with lows of 46°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Mon) so you can travel to Montevideo.

With a rich cultural scene and plenty of developed beaches, Montevideo vacations appeal to a growing number of visitors from around the world.
Let the collections at Palacio Taranco and Centro Municipal de Exposiciones SUBTE capture your imagination. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Pittamiglio"s Castle and Iglesia de las Carmelitas. Take a break from Montevideo with a short trip to Pizzorno Family Estates in Canelones, about 42 minutes away. There's still lots to do: wander the streets of Ciudad Vieja, grab your bike and head to Orange Bike, immerse yourself in nature at El Rosedal, and explore the activities along Rio De La Plata.

Plan for somewhat warmer nights when traveling from Montevideo in May since evenings lows in Punta del Este dip to 55°F.
