Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Quinta da Regaleira and Castelo de S. Jorge. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Museu Calouste Gulbenkian and Park and National Palace of Pena. Take a break from Lisbon with a short trip to Castelo dos Mouros in Sintra, about 42 minutes away.
