The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Old Town and Grossmunster. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Bahnhofstrasse and Glen Fahrn 'the Pearl' Zurich. Venture out of the city with trips to Lucerne (Mt Pilatus, Ufschotti Park, & more). Kick off your visit on the 15th (Mon): get engrossed in the history at Museum of the City of Brussels (Musee de la Ville de Bruxelles), steep yourself in history at Grand Place, buy something for everyone on your list at Les Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, then steep yourself in history at St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral (Cathedrale St-Michel et Ste-Gudule), and finally see the interesting displays at Atomium. On your second day here, take a stroll through Place St. Gery, then examine the collection at Beer Museum, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise des Carmes, and finally examine the collection at Musées Royaux des Beaux-Arts de Belgique.

Traveling by flight from Zurich to Brussels takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and flight; or drive. When traveling from Zurich in July, plan for little chillier days and about the same nights in Brussels: temperatures range from 26°C by day to 15°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Tue) so you can catch the train to Bruges.

On the 17th (Wed), contemplate the long history of Historic Centre of Brugge, take in panoramic vistas at Belfry of Bruges, then contemplate the long history of Basilica of the Holy Blood, then indulge your thirst for a good beer at Huisbrouwerij De Halve Maan, and finally go for a walk through Walplein. Traveling by train from Brussels to Bruges takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In July, daily temperatures in Bruges can reach 25°C, while at night they dip to 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Paris.
