Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Step off the beaten path and head to Micropia and Canals area. Your inner history buff will appreciate Anne Frank House and Museum Het Rembrandthuis (Rembrandt House). You'll find plenty of places to visit near Amsterdam: The Hague (Louwman Museum The Hague, Panorama Mesdag, & more), Kroller-Muller Museum (in Otterlo) and Marken (in Marken). There's much more to do: admire the masterpieces at Rijksmuseum, examine the collection at Museum Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Portuguese Synagogue, and trek along Bezoekerscentrum Nunspeet.

Singapore, Singapore to Amsterdam is an approximately 16-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. You'll gain 7 hours traveling from Singapore to Amsterdam due to the time zone difference. You can take a train from Amsterdam to Brussels in 2 hours. Other options are to drive; or fly. In July, plan for daily highs up to 26°C, and evening lows to 15°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Sat) to allow enough time to take a train to Paris.
