Start off your visit on the 27th (Tue): admire the landmark architecture of Doge's Palace, then snap pictures at Ponte dei Sospiri, then don't miss a visit to Basilica di San Marco, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Canal Grande. Change things up with a short trip to Trakai Island Castle Museum in Trakai (about 36 minutes away).
