The booming city of Bucharest is a sophisticated metropolis with a high contrast of old- and new-world architecture.
Shop till you drop at Rotenberg-Uzunov and AFI Cotroceni. Old Town and Lipscani are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Take a break from Bucharest with a short trip to Therme București in Balotesti, about 36 minutes away. There's much more to do: ponder the world of politics at Palace of Parliament, stop by my romanian store, test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms, and admire the striking features of Muzeul National al Satului "Dimitrie Gusti".

Tel Aviv, Israel to Bucharest is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. Expect slightly colder evenings in Bucharest when traveling from Tel Aviv in July, with lows around 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Wed) so you can take a train to Constanta.

Start off your visit on the 1st (Thu): kick back and relax at Doors Beach and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Oha Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 2nd (Fri): browse for treasures at Tomis Antiques, then browse the exhibits of Museum of National History and Archeology, and then kick back and relax at Plaja de Carte.

Traveling by train from Bucharest to Constanta takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. With the dramatic Carpathian Mountains as backdrop, Brasov is the largest city in a region of mountain resorts.
Take a break from the city and head to La Prapastii Zarnesti and Mount Tampa. Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle) and Natura in Bucate are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Take a break from Brasov with a short trip to Peles Castle in Sinaia, about 58 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: wander the streets of Brasov Historical Center, enjoy some diversion at Season Hill, don't miss a visit to Council Square, and admire nature's extreme beauty at Luado Chocolate.

Getting from Tulcea to Brasov by car takes about 6 hours. Other options: do a combination of bus and train; or take a bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Tue) early enough to drive to Sighisoara.
