Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Rome: Culture Discovery Vacations - Cooking Classes & Vacations (in Soriano nel Cimino) and Macchina di Santa Rosa (in Viterbo). There's much more to do: explore the ancient world of Colosseum, pause for some serene contemplation at Pantheon, admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain, and make a trip to Spanish Steps.
